Meet Tara

Tara Farrar is the Esthetician/Permanent Makeup Artist and Owner of Emerald Studio for Permanent Makeup and Emerald & Co Face and Body. Tara grew up in Kentucky and has made friends all over this great state and in many others. That is because she's a lover of all things! She can always find something beautiful, interesting, funny, or valuable in almost every landscape, person, or experience. This gift comes in handy during challenging situations, but also makes life difficult when deciding where to go for dinner... or vacation... or even what to do when she grows up!

​After a long career in the engineering and construction world, she experienced a series of life changing events and sought a different path, so she built a thriving business in permanent makeup - brows, lips, liner, scar camouflage, and inkless skin revision - at Emerald Studio for Permanent Makeup. Along the way, a passion for helping clients with their skin developed and prompted Tara to complete a formal esthetician training program. Emerald & Co. Face and Body was created to ensure her clients will be properly pampered from head to toe with a variety of spa and skincare services - body treatments, acne and anti-aging treatments, dermaplaning, lash extensions, lash lift and tints, brow treatments, and waxing.
