Permanent Makeup

Not only does permanent makeup enhance your face naturally, but it also boosts your confidence, erases your insecurities, and allows you to save time on your daily makeup routine. PMU will give you the freedom you desire to look your best 24/7, when you're sweating, swimming, and sleeping too!

We offer many different styles of permanent eyebrows, lips, and eyeliner and use gentle techniques and tools to create less trauma than traditional microbladed brows. We prefer to create a natural effect that blends seamlessly and is undetectable. We also offer some correction services for those who have previous permanent makeup. Please contact us if you have previous permanent makeup and wish to discuss tattoo correction.
PERMANENT LIPS
Lip styles include a natural lip blush - your lips but better; a lipstick effect for a bolder heal; and lip neutralization for melanin-rich lips (Fitz IV-VI clients when suitable). Your suitability and style will be discussed and determined at your appointment.

PERMANENT EYEBROWS
Brow styles include nanobrows - a hairstroke look similar to microblading, but less traumatic and more beautiful; powder brows - a makeup look similar to traditional pencils and powders; or combination brows - a combination of hairstrokes and powder brows. Your suitability and style will be discussed and determined at your appointment.

PERMANENT EYELINER
Eyeliner styles range from a thin and natural enhancement called lash liner, to a classic or winged eyeliner, to a thick or shaded eyeshadow effect. Bottom eyeliner can be added for no additional cost for appropriate candidates. Thick and shaded eyeliners are not included in the price, but can be added for appropriate candidates for an additional fee of $100. Suitability for eyeliner styles is determined in person only and depends on eye shape and skin condition at the time of appointment. Your suitability and style will be discussed and determined at your appointment.

PRE-Care

You must stop using any eyelash or eyebrow growth serums at least 4 weeks prior to treatment.

DO NOT have Botox, fillers, or chemical peels for at least 4 weeks before or after the treatment.

Obtain a prescription from your MD for cold sore prevention if you have ever had a cold sore (lip treatment only)

Exfoliate and moisturize the lips prior to lip treatment - request instructions if needed

Avoid tanning beds and sun exposure for 10-14 days prior to treatment.

DO NOT take Advil, ibuprofen, Aleve, aspirin, or any other NSAIDs for 24-48 hours prior to your appointment.

DO NOT drink alcohol the day before or day of your treatment.
AFTER-Care
Keep your hands away from your tattoo as they heal, unless you are performing the aftercare steps. Always clean your hands with soap and water prior to beginning the aftercare steps.

DO NOT wear makeup on the treatment area for the first 7-10 days!

Wash the area gently twice a day to keep them clean. Pat softly with a clean cloth to dry. Do not rub or pick at the healing skin. You may use the gentle soap provided in your aftercare package, or rinse with plain water. Do not scrub, use abrasive or harsh soaps, or wash cloths. This is important for pigment retention.

Use a clean cotton swab provided in your aftercare kit to apply the ointment several times a day for the first 7-10 days, or until peeling is complete. The goal is to keep the area clean and moisturized all day long to assist with healing and prevent excessive flaking.

Use a sterile nipper or scissor to trim any peeling or flaking skin that is bothersome. DO NOT pick at it, pull on it, or rub it off.

Do not sleep on your side or stomach for the first 7-10 days to avoid rubbing the brow area against your pillow.

Avoid sweating for the first 7-10 days.

Contact your physician immediately if you experience any signs of infection.
